ICEBREAKER, HIGHEST COMMON DENOMINATOR

Time required: approximately 10 minutes

Works well with groups that are meeting for the first time as well as groups that have worked together before. Do this:

• Create small groups of 3-5 people.
• Each group must try to find the highest common denominator for the group in 5 minutes. For example, that everyone in the group has a common hobby, that everyone has seen the same movie or has been to x number of countries. Challenge the group to come up with as many unexpected denominators as possible!
• Break after 5 minutes and ask the groups to present their highest (and most unexpected) denominator.
